Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope, harbours a guardian like no other - Gnarlroot. Beneath the canopy of trees of green and crimson roses, his presence shatters the tranquil melody of nature. Heroic Gnarlroot may not sing a soothing tune, but he orchestrates a different symphony, one that tests the mettle of champions.

This is a single target fight with frequent add spawns.

NORMAL TACTICS:

• Spread around the boss.

• Dodge swirlies and the frontal.

• Some swirlies will spawn adds .. kill asap.

• Tank swap at Dreadfire Barrage.

• Large yellow circles (Controlled Burn) ... place to edges.

• Intermission - boss will move to centre and cast Potent Fertilization, becoming almost immune.  

• Massive roots will spawn around the boss.  Random players will get small red circles around them - they need to run into the roots to burn them. 

• Once all the roots are gone, the boss will take 100% increased damage for 20 seconds.  Pop CD's.  BLOODLUST.

• The boss will do 10% damage after each intermission.  Once the intermission is over, the fight repeats.

ADDITIONAL HEROIC TACTICS:

• Lashers spawn dormant - place Controlled Burn circles on top of them to wake them and then stack and kill to stop them all waking at once.

• at intermission, any remaining dormant adds will wake.  Kill asap.

• During intermission, soak Splintering Charcoal circles and then touch the roots.  Once they start burning, move onto the next until the Ember-Charred debuff expires.  Continue until all roots are cleared.
