Rik Reverb
Following the first boss, raiders can choose to continue on to one of 4 bosses (Cauldron of Carnage, Rik Reverb, Stix Bunkjunker or Sprocketmonger Lockenstock). All four of these bosses may be defeated in any order, but must be killed before moving on to the 6th boss, One-Armed Bandit.
This is a two-phase single-target boss encounter, with the phase transition occurring once Rik reaches 100 Energy. This fight is all about keeping Rik's Amplifiers from going Haywire, with a bunch of extra mechanics thrown in between. The boss will rotate between these two phases until defeated. Players should note that the third time Rik reaches 100 Energy, he will enrage into a Hype Fever! and will ultimately wipe the group if not defeated beforehand.
Tactics
Phase 1
Bloodlust on pull. Tank where he spawns. Ranged stack nearby. All raiders behind boss.
Tank swap around 4 stacks of debuff.
When Amplifiers spawn tank should immediately move boss around 20yds away.
Amplifiers have an energy bar - don't let it get to max. To channel drain, right click on it. Can still cast. Move away to stop. Don't let the boss within 15 yds (energy increases). Assign a few ranged players to drain.
(Heroic) Draining applies a debuff - need more drainers or have a third tank do it.
Echoing Chant - Amplifiers shoot out white discs - avoid.
Sound Cannon - applies to a random player. Frontal. Aim away from the raid. Everyone else avoid.
Random players will get blue circles .. spread out and avoid (don't drain amplifier).
(Heroic) Pyrotechnic adds - kill asap (you gain a haste buff for killing them).
Phase 2
At full energy, Boss will go immune and apply a blue circle to a random amplifier which supercharges it. Drain it and raid stands in circle so that when boss white circle comes out (Blaring Drop), everyone gets boosted over it (like Queen Ansurak in Nerubar Palace where you pop circles). Repeat until returned to Phase 1.
