One-Armed Bandit
The One-Armed Bandit is the 6th boss fight, introducing unique mechanics involving casino-themed elements such as slot machine mechanics, casino chips, and tokens. Players must manage their priorities carefully while dealing with overlapping mechanics, which ramp up in difficulty throughout the encounter.
In this boss encounter, the One-Armed Bandit will Spin To Win!, summoning 3 assistants. These assistants drop specialized Tokens that players will deposit into the boss. (Flame, Shock, Bomb, and Coin) Depositing two of the three tokens will spit out a Reward mechanic based on the combination of the tokens. In the first phase, players have the freedom to choose what Reward mechanics to deal with, based on the Tokens they deposit into the boss.
At 100 Energy, the One-Armed Bandit enters Phase Two, where it will Cheat to Win! In this Phase, the boss gets to choose the order of mechanics. If the boss is not defeated quickly enough in this phase, it will always end with casting Explosive Jackpot. If Explosive Jackpot goes off, the raid will wipe.
Tactics
Phase 1
At full energy, 3 Assistants spawn ( one of either Coin, Shock, Flame or Bomb). When killed they drop a token of the same name. Do raid wide damage. Interrupt "Overload" cast.
Withering Flames applied to random players when Assistant's spawn. Move out to get dispelled. Drops fire waves.
Collect two tokens (giving extra action button) and deposit at the boss within 30 seconds of each other. DO NOT deposit a previously used combo (there are visual aids around the room to show which have already been used):
Coin & Flame = Raid wide damage.
Coin & Bomb = 5 small adds that fixate. Cannot be CC'd, try to kite, clump and nuke asap.
Flame & Bomb = 3 large adds that fixate. Can be CC'd, 15yd damage when they die.
Shock & Coin = Summons a pylon that sucks players in.
Shock & Bomb = Summons a pylon that summons fixating bomb adds (cc, kite & kill).
Shock & Flame = Summons a pylon that fires Fire projectiles.
(Note - pylons stay, and repeat every 100 energy)
Casino Chips/Pay-Line - Stun anyone who is hit. Standing close to a chip without being hit gives haste and damage buff (route indicated by blue line). Where it lands, large AoE damage area, then needs to be picked up and aimed either at the wall (safest) or towards raid (for the stun/haste buff)
Foul Exhaust - AoE, slow and healing absorb.
Tank: The Big Hit - Taunt Swap and the targeted tank moves away to edge of room by the time the cast finishes.
Electric fields - caused by some tank mechanics, reducing space over time.
Tanks can clear by activating coils, but this triggers that coils mechanics.
Phase 2 - 30% health/6 token combos
Bloodlust.
Large coil in centre with beam - avoid.
Red arrows over two people (Hot Hot Heat) - flame beam - they stand still, everyone else avoid.
Scattered Payout - raid wide damage.
Casino Chips still happening.
Tank mechanic/electric field still happens - can't clear, so kite boss.
