Chrome King Gallywix
Chrome King Gallywix is the eighth and final boss encounter in the Liberation of Undermine Raid.
Welcome to the House of Chrome. This fight contains 3 Phases, with a full intermission between Phases 2 and 3. Gallywix has a full arsenal of explosives and weapons, and some of the best Darkfuse chronies he could hire. What is Gallywix hiding within the halls of Gallagio?
Tactics
Split the raid in two.
Phase 1
Aims a frontal cone at the current Tank, which does split damage. Tank swap to change soaking group.
Half the raid should should soak each one, with the groups alternating.
All the players hit have a healing absorb that needs to be healed off. When removed it explodes .. spread a little.
Big Bad Buncha Bombs (large orange circles) - deal very high damage to anyone hit. Get out.
Anyone hit by a bomb receives a long DoT, which stacks.
Players marked with Sapper's Satchel deal damage to nearby players. Spread.
Heroic: Drops an additional bomb that should be out of the way.
Heroic: Drops a 1500-Pound "Dud" Bomb that needs to be clicked by a Tank - deals high damage and knocks them back.
Tank: Gallywix does not move from the middle of the room.
Gatling Cannon does increased damage if you are out of melee range.
Trick Shots stacks every 5 seconds on Gallywix. On a Tank Swap or at 10 stacks, all stacks are consumed. For each stack consumed, it deals Physical damage and leaves a stacking DoT.
Intermission (100 Energy)
Interrupt and kill adds.
Adds drop bombs which need to be picked up - one needs to be dropped where giga controls are exposed (a gate at edge will lower), the rest can be dropped down the middle, using extra action button.
Avoid large blue frontal beam.
Phase 2 (when gigacoils deactivated)
Boss will move and spawn adds. kill asap.
All Phase 1 mechanics are retained, and new abilities are added.
Marked targets will get Fused Canisters, dealing damage after 6 seconds (fiery soak circles).
Each Fused Canisters hit will cause a stacking healing absorb.
Each Fused Canisters player must stack with at least 1 other person, otherwise the healing absorb hits all players.
The more people in a stack, the safer the mechanic is, but the higher the healing absorb.
Intermission (50% health)
Big brown circle .. move out - he gets into his iron man suit.
Puts up a massive absorb shield which prevents interrupts.
Break the shield and interrupt TOTAL DESTRUCTION!!!
Heroic: Dodge the lightning!
Phase 3 (Bloodlust)
Charged Giga Bomb and Giga Coils are retained from Phase 2.
Starts with a massive tankbuster and a 30-yard AoE around the Tank. Everyone else out.
Fire circles .. spread.
Fire beams targeted on players .. minimal movement, let others get out.
Tick-Tock Canisters - pink/purple single soaks.
Boss will return to centre and spawn the adds with the bombs that need to be carried out.
Shockwaves will start covering segments of floor - enrage mechanic.
Tank: Ego Check
A new tankbuster for Tanks.
Deals 4 hits for Physical damage.
Unmitigated damage of each strike is added together, leaving a DoT.
Use your defensives for the initial strikes.
